WebAccount and Language

Language is a fundamental part of WebAccount. We want WebAccount, its website and support documentation to be available in as many languages as possible. Currently WebAccount can be installed and run in fifteen languages.
All the languages we plan to include in WebAccount, our website and communications are shown below.

Setting or changing the language

When WebAccount is installed you choose your preferred language. The installation software interacts with you in the language you select.
To change the language later use the Configure option and click or touch the language you require. WebAccount will immediately change language. More information on configuration options is available.

Entering data in your language

WebAccount supports the entry of information in Asian languages like Chinese or Japanese, and also Latin characters typical of European languages. The same applies to characters from languages like Russian, Greek or Arabic. All will be saved "as entered". This includes your passwords although we suggest care before using non-Latin characters for a password unless the relevant Website specifically states they support that.
Mixing languages or character sets is not recommended with regards to the Account Name as it may produce unusual "sort" behaviour.

Website languages and Support

Currently our website, support pages and social media channels are only in English but in due course other language versions will become available.
We are continually adding new information to this site. Once that process is complete we will start translating into other languages.

Support

All support including the website support section is provided in English. This will change as we translate the website in the future.
You may contact WebAccount using one of the language options provided on our contact page. At the moment if not English we will use tools to translate from your language and reply likewise. We apologise for any language "quality issues" that this method generates. We know that these tools are not as good as a human but hopefully better than just a reply in English.
